Lei Ming's practice centres on technology's impact on the individuals and their living situations. His solo exhibition at Salt Projects consists of two sets of works: one is a triptych of paintings that imitate images from forensic crime scenes to achieve the scientific notion of "precision." The other one, titled "Victims," is the artist's notebook that investigates how media attributes to the constructed identity of victims.
Lei Ming, born in 1986, Qingdao, is a graduate student of The School of Experimental Art, CAFA. He lives and works in Beijing.
